Curtis Birch wrote, shot and produced a series of 2-minute documentary segments for Toyota’s popular #MakeUp2Mud series. The spots, televised weekly on NBC’s SuperCross broadcasts, featured inspiring women in motocross. The aspirational stories not only reached tens of millions of households nationwide but the ladies were also celebrated live on stage at SuperCross events. The campaign turned our featured riders into household names. Making them legitimate stars in a sport previously lacking female role models and a pro circuit for women.
